A new project in the Fujairah, UAE to build a rolling mill is underway by United Steel Industries LLC. For that purpose a separate plot in the area close to the Indian Ocean is dedicated, encompassing 140,000 square meters of land. The plant will produce bar and wire rod products for civil construction.

United Steel Industries LLC is located close to the port of Fujairah and port of Khor Fakkan. Port of Fujairah is the only multi-purpose port on the Eastern seaboard of the United Arab Emirates, approximately 70 nautical miles from the Strait of Hormuz. Fujairah Terminals, an operational arm wholly owned by Abu Dhabi Ports, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with United Steel Industries LLC.
The agreement supports the handling of the company’s import and export shipments through Port of Fujairah. Also, Fujairah Terminals facilitate all required logistics support for the company.
